Why choose Stalwart

Why serious CAT aspirants choose Stalwart.

There are dozens of CAT coaching options in India. Here is what makes preparation at Stalwart genuinely different — and why it produces results that speak for themselves.

🪫
A personal mentor assigned to you from day one
Your mentor tracks your progress through every mock, identifies your weak areas, customises your learning plan, guides your college selection, and supports you through the inevitable low points. Not a group. Not a helpline. Your mentor.
Rare in the industry. Standard at Stalwart.
🎓
Faculty who sit the exam themselves every year
Our faculty, led by Ankesh Jindal (MDI Gurgaon, serial CAT topper), regularly take CAT and XAT themselves. They teach what works in today’s exam — not from notes written five years ago.
No other institute does this.
📚
Study material updated after every CAT cycle
A dedicated content team works year-round. After every CAT, the material is revised to reflect new patterns, new question types, and new strategies. You never prepare with outdated content.
Most institutes update every 3–5 years. We update every year.
👥
Batches under 35 students. Always.
We cap every batch at under 35 students — not as a marketing claim but as an operational rule. Every student gets direct faculty access, meaningful doubt resolution, and the individual attention that large batches make impossible.
Most large institutes run 100–200 per batch.
📊
National benchmark mock tests
Your mock scores are benchmarked against students across all Stalwart centres nationwide. You get a true picture of where you stand nationally — not just within your own batch, which tells you nothing useful.
Real competition. Real benchmarking.
🗣
GD · PI · WAT built in from day one
Getting a shortlist is only half the battle. At Stalwart, interview and writing preparation is integrated throughout — not added as a rushed last-minute module. Because converting an offer matters as much as getting one.
Included in every course. No extra cost.
Our students

Real students. Real results.

We don’t count calls. We count conversions. Every student below received and converted their admission into a college that matched their ambition.

Our preparation methodology

How Stalwart prepares you for CAT.

Four stages. Each one builds on the last. No skipped foundations — because an unshakeable grip on fundamentals makes every question manageable.

01
🏗
Fundamentals first
Every concept built from the root. No formula dumping. Visualisation-based teaching that makes even complex QA and DILR problems feel logical and natural.
02
🚀
Advanced application
Once fundamentals are strong, we move to exam-level application — speed, accuracy and decision-making under timed pressure across all three sections.
03
📊
Mock tests and analysis
Regular full-length mocks benchmarked nationally. Deep analysis of where time was lost, which areas need attention, and how strategy needs to adapt.
04
🔄
Targeted revision
Your personal mentor identifies weak areas from mock data and builds a revision plan specific to you. Personalised and purposeful — not generic revision worksheets.

Frequently asked questions about CAT

CAT — the Common Admission Test — is India’s most competitive MBA entrance exam, conducted annually by the IIMs. Any graduate with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) can appear. Final year students are also eligible. If your goal is an IIM, FMS, MDI, IIFT or any top Indian business school, CAT is the exam you must take.

To appear for CAT Exam , a candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities included by an act of the central or a state legislature in India, or any other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or are declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the MHRD, India. The candidate has to secure a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination or have finished the degree prerequisites and are anticipating results can also apply.

To register for CAT Exam, visit www.iimcat.ac.in and click on the ‘registration’ tab. Enter the required details, and on successful registration, you will receive a user ID and password through mail or SMS. Login and complete the application form for CAT. In the application form, you will be asked to fill in some personal details, contact details, academic details, and choose the IIMs you want to apply for and the test center and interview city. After this, you need to upload your photograph and signature where ever mentioned. Finally, you need to pay the application fee online through Credit/Debit card or Net banking.

CAT Exam Cutoff is the minimum score required by a candidate to be considered for the next stage of the selection process, which includes Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). The cutoff varies from institute to institute and is determined by various factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and availability of seats.

CAT Exam Cutoff is calculated based on various parameters such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, the number of seats available, and the category of the candidate. The formula used to calculate the CAT Exam Cutoff is normalization, which is a statistical process that is used to adjust the scores of candidates taking different sets of question papers.

Candidates can check their CAT Exam Results by visiting the official website of CAT and entering their login credentials. The CAT Exam Scorecard will be displayed on the screen, which will contain the candidate’s sectional and overall scores, percentile, and rank. Candidates can download and take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.

If you are searching for the Best CAT Coaching In India, then your search ends here. Stalwart Career Institute, is undoubtedly, the Best CAT Classes In India.

There is no limit on the number of CAT attempts. You can appear every year until you achieve your target score. Most serious aspirants use their first attempt as a benchmark and improve significantly in subsequent attempts with structured preparation.

Self-study is possible but structured coaching significantly improves your chances — particularly for DILR and VARC, where strategy and approach matter as much as knowledge. Coaching provides a disciplined schedule, quality mock tests benchmarked nationally, a personal mentor to guide your preparation, and personalised feedback that is very difficult to replicate alone.

There is no fixed duration — it depends entirely on your current level. Some students need a year or more to build from the ground up, while others with a strong foundation may need only a focused few months. At Stalwart, your personal mentor assesses your current level at the start and recommends the appropriate course and timeline for you.

The older IIMs (IIM A, B, C, L, K, I) typically shortlist candidates at 99+ overall percentile. Newer IIMs and top non-IIM colleges like MDI, IIFT and FMS shortlist at 95–98 percentile. However, sectional percentiles matter equally — strong overall performance with weak sectional scores can lead to rejection even above the cutoff.

Yes — GD, PI and WAT preparation is integrated into every Stalwart CAT course from day one. We believe converting an admission offer is as important as getting a shortlist. Special workshops cover Group Discussion techniques, Personal Interview preparation, and Written Ability Test writing — all included at no extra cost.

The core preparation — study material, mock tests, mentorship, and GD/PI/WAT — is identical across both modes. Classroom courses are available at our centres across multiple cities with in-person sessions. Online courses offer Live Classes, Self Paced recorded sessions, and a Correspondence option. Every student — classroom or online — gets full Stalwart app access with unlimited lecture replays and personal doubt chat.

Where most coaching institutes focus on difficult questions and complex shortcuts, Stalwart is built on the opposite belief — that an unshakeable grip on fundamentals makes every question solvable. No excessive formulas, no tricks that break under pressure. Deep conceptual clarity, visualisation-based teaching, and a personal mentor who tracks your progress throughout.

Yes. A strong CAT preparation forms the foundation for most OMETs. Stalwart covers XAT, SNAP, NMAT, MICAT and CMAT alongside CAT preparation. Your personal mentor will guide you on which exams to target based on your profile and target colleges.
