About CUET Exam

The Central University Entrance Test (CUET Exam) is an all-India entrance exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by all participating institutions.

The entire name of the exam was Central Universities Common Entrance Test or CUCET until last year when the University Grants Commission modified it (UGC). The exam is held once a year in over 500 places across India and around the world.

The exam lasts two hours and is administered on a computer. Originally, CUCET was administered by UGC in a paper-pencil format. The NTA has been administering the test in a computer-based mode since last year.
