NTA CUET UG

The Common University Entrance Test – CUET UG is an all-India entrance exam conducted for admission into various undergraduate programs offered by central universities in India. CUET UG Exam Pattern

Section 1: Language Proficiency

This section is further divided into two parts – 1A and 1B. The languages included in each part are as follows:

The section will have 45 to 50 multiple-choice questions, and each question will carry one mark. Out of these questions, 35 to 40 questions will be marked. The duration of the section will be announced soon.

CUET General Test

Section III of the CUET UG 2023 exam will have a General Test consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions with each question carrying one mark. Out of these questions, 50 questions will be marked. The section will have questions from various topics to assess the candidate’s general knowledge, reasoning ability, and aptitude. The duration of the section will be announced soon.

The General Test is designed to assess the candidate’s ability to think logically, critically, and analytically. The questions are not domain-specific, and the topics may vary from current affairs, social issues, and cultural topics to abstract reasoning and mental ability questions.

General Knowledge: This sub-section includes questions on current affairs, general knowledge, and events of national and international importance. Candidates are expected to have a good understanding of the world around them and stay updated with the latest news.

Analytical and Logical Reasoning: This sub-section tests a candidate’s ability to think critically and logically. Questions may include logical puzzles, analytical reasoning, and data interpretation.

Quantitative Aptitude: This sub-section assesses a candidate’s numerical ability and problem-solving skills. Questions may include topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics.
